U.S. Cellular Field, home of the Chicago White Sox, is located on the south side of the city.  While it is still called Comiskey, the name of the old stadium, by many Chicago fans, it is quite a bit different from the old park.  With a new, huge electronic scoreboard, beautiful landscaping, old-fashioned bleachers, fabulous food and more than 40,000 seats, U.S. Cellular Field is the perfect place to cheer on one of Chicago’s winning teams.

The area around U.S. Cellular Field, Bridgeport, is not quite as developed as Wrigleyville, home of the team representing the north side of Chicago in the Crosstown Classic.  However, it is changing rapily as the area continues to gentrify and young familes move into the area.  South side fans tend to be passionate about their team, so one is practically guaranteed to have a great time.  The enthusiam in the park is contaigious.  And yes, like any ballpark, Chicago's U.S. Cellular is full of the smells of peanuts and hot dogs.

Hours

U.S. Cellular field is open to the public during home games.  Some facilites may be available for private parties when the team is not playing.
