In the spirit of tradition, on Sunday, March 9th, the South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee and St. Cajetan Parish will host the Parade Mass.  This annual celebration of faith and heritage will begin with Irish songs and music at 8:30 am and mass at 9:00 am, followed by a 12:00 sharp parade step-off from 103rd & Western Ave with this year’s Grand Marshall, the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk.  Witness the annual South Side Irish Parade, the vision of two best friends, George Hendry and Pat Coakley who felt the obligation to create something for the children and their “green” neighbors.
