You will go ape over Lincoln Park Zoo. Located in a lush park just minutes north of downtown Chicago, you’ll be transported into a tropical rainforests, dry-thorn forests or spacious savannas. It’s a perfect activity with kids, friends, or a date. You can even sign up the kiddies for summer conservation camps. You can feed the cows, meet the apes, or see the gray seals. It's simply an amazing place for everyone.

Meet their endangered red wolves, participate in a Wolf Trivia game show and form your own pack as we play the WolfQuest video game. It’s sure to be a howling good time! This program is designed for kids between 9-12 years of age with a maximum of 15 participants

Enjoy a delicious breakfast in Regenstein Center for African Apes while listening to Lincoln Park Zoo’s zoological manager of primates. Discover fascinating facts about chimpanzees and gorillas and hear wild stories about some of the zoo’s great apes. After breakfast, you can view chimpanzees and gorillas during their most active time of day.
ZooLights

Some things are worth pulling out your bulky jacket and mittens—like the spectacular ZooLight display. Little and big kids will love the Lincoln Park Zoo during the holiday season. This event is free. Check out their calendar to see what dates you can meet Santa, see ice-carvings demonstrations, and witness musical light show extravaganza on the South Lawn. If you are a member, you can warm up in the Members Lounge from 5-8. This free, holiday classic is one of Chicago’s must-see seasonal events. .

For one night only, join Princeton University ecologist and author Andrew Dobson, Ph.D., and the zoo’s director of Tanzanian programs, Felix Lankester, D.V.M., as they share their experiences working to save Africa’s crown jewel, the awe-inspiring Serengeti National Park.

You’re invited to join us for free, 30-minute yoga classes on the zoo’s Main Mall. The first session is for parents with crawlers. The second session if for parents with kids ages 2–5. No registration necessary. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats. *These events are weather-dependent.
